Booking Request & Form

  • All Transport Booking Requests and Changes must be received by the respective Rand Depot by 2pm on the working day prior to collection
  • Booking Forms (see link below) must be completed in full for freight to travel - incomplete Booking Forms will be returned to the Customer
  • Freight must be available by 12 noon on the day of the requested pick up
  • Demurrage will be charged at a rate of $90 per hour or part thereof after one hour when attempting to complete a Pick Up or Delivery

  • Linehaul rates are based on the following specifications and in denominations of HALF SPACE or part there of:

-    HALF SPACE = 1.2m x 1.2m and no more than 1.2m high or up to 500kg gross, whichever is greater
-    ONE SPACE = 1.2m x 1.2m and no more than 2.4m high or up to 1000kg gross, whichever is greater

(Height and weight of pallet must be included in these dimensions)

Minimum charge per consignment is 1 space/tonne + Fuel Levy + GST

  • For space rate to apply, product must be palletised and shrink-wrapped, or palletising fee will be incurred
  • All pallets are to be transferred directly to the receiver or subject to a delay transfer if transferred onto Rand Transport account
  • Rand Transport will not be responsible for the counting of carton quantities

Insurance remains the responsibilty of the the Customer unless prior arrangements have been made with Rand
